Fyfield and Tubney Parish Council

Parish Financial Information

The Parish has a single bank account which holds monies from two separate financial accounts.

The Precept Account holds monies raised primarily from the Parish Precept which is collected from households along side the District and County rates.

The CIL (Community Infrastructure Levy) is a charge made to developments in the Parish and paid to the District Council. A proportion of this money is passed to the Parish and must be spent within five years on infrastructure within then Parish.

Current Statement

The Current Statement depicts all transactions this financial year. An explanation of each transaction can be found in the appropriate minutes. Transations after the last meeting will not have a minute reference until reported at the next meeting.

Previous Year End Financial Statements

The Year End Statements detail the parish accounts as signed off by council at the end of each financial year and correspond to the reported accounts in the corresponding annual audited report.

Asset Register

The Asset Register lists all property owned by the Parish Council. Note that it is a requirement that all assets are recorded at purchase price and this valuation stands until such time the asset is disposed of. No account is made for depreciation.

Previous Audit Documentation

Each Year the Clerk, as Responsible Financial Officer, is required to obtain an Internal Audit of the accounts and then submit a full audit return to the External Auditors. It is a audit requirement that the audit documents are made available on this web site.

Previous CIL Reports

Each Year the council is required to account for CIL receipts and expenditure to the District Council. These reports indicate not only what has been spent but also what money remains from a given year’s receipts.
