SUNDAY 2nd jULY: PRAISE'N'PRAYER MEETING: Our informal service in Kingston's Church Room, from 8.00-9.00pm, with coffee first from 7.45pm. Come and try it.

THURSDAY 6th JULY: PRAYER MEETING: From 7.30pm to 9.00pm at the Vicarage, a warm, informal, friendly gathering to pray together. All very welcome. We will also consider a possible relaunch of this prayer meeting in 2018.

MONDAY 10th JULY: KINGSTON PCC: At 7.30pm in the Church Room.

FRIDAY 14th JULY: FILM NIGHT: At 7.15pm, in Kingston Church Room, "Forrest Gump," all very welcome (and it's free).

SUNDAY 16th JULY - JOIN US FOR LUNCH AT THE HIND's HEAD: Join us for our monthly 'All Welcome' lunch at the Hind's Head. The cost is very reasonable (huge main course for £7.95), and the company is excellent. Please contact Mel Gulliford (821087,, by the Thursday before) who makes a group booking for us to keep things simple for the Hind's Head. Catch it while the Hind's Head is still there!

SUNDAY 30th JULY: cafe church: At our quarterly Cafe Church Service on the 30th July we have an exciting speaker/interviewee, Mr Sam Sanya, up from the vicar factory at Wycliffe Hall in Oxford with his guitar to share something of his journey of faith and what the Bible means to him. Cafe Church is always a good chance to chat, catch up, make new friends, hear a short talk on an interesting topic followed by a lively discussion.

SUNDAY 30th JULY: THE LAST EVER SUNDAY MORNING CLUSTER SERVICE AT TUBNEY: Our local cluster of eight village churches is rethinking how it will come together. The quarterly get-together services on a Sunday morning will not be part of whatever future plan is decided, so come to the very last, at Tubney, at 10.30am on Sunday 30th July, and mingle with friends and friends-to-be from other local villages and churches.

Monday 31st july, Tuesday-Wednesday 1st & 2nd August - FOOTBALL HOLIDAY CLUB: Ages 5-7, 10.00-11.30, ages 8-11, 12.00-1.30, £4 per session, £10 for all three days. Contact Gary on 07799-968408,

SATURDAY 5th AUGUST - FYFIELD FETE: 1.30-4pm. A timeless afternoon set in a quintessentially English country garden, at the house on the west side of Fyfield Green. Enjoy cream teas on the lawn, a proper brass band, lots of interesting stalls to browse, traditional games and classic cars. Pork roast, beer and Pimm's served all afternoon. Not to be missed!

SUNDAY 20th AUGUST - VINTAGE TEA PARTY: At Brushwood Farm, Frilford Heath, from 3.00 - 6.00 pm, entrance £4.00 (children free). Plenty of Parking, Dogs and Children welcome, a short walk to the Hitchcopse Pit Nature Reserve. Contact Rosemary Kitto (390466) for details.

Tuesday 15th & Thursday 17th AUGUST - FUN FACTOR HOLIDAY CLUB: for primary school age children, 11.00am-3.00pm, games, stories and crafts, free of charge. Contact Gary on 07799-968408,


SUNDAY 3rd SEPTEMBER: EVENSONG & POETRY EVENING: All are welcome to Tubney's evensong and poetry evening at 6.00pm on the 3rd September. After a shortened but still very beautiful service of Evensong we will be reading and discussing poetry over a glass of wine. All very welcome, and do bring a poem to read. Our topic is Romantic Poetry (please feel free to interpret broadly - whether the Romantic poets, or the romantic in poetry, or even Romanticism in poetry).


A HUGE THANK YOU FOR THE KINGSTON FETE: a massive thank you to Margo Evans, Hazel Brennan and the Fete Committee, and to everybody else, too numerous to mention, who contributed to the Kingston Fete, a wonderful event once again.

ANOTHER VERY BIG THANK YOU: to all who helped with Kingston's Christian Aid collection, especially Andre, Peter and Hazel, for organising it.

PRAYER FOCUS: for these two months our prayer focus is on Kingsmoor Day Centre, Care for the Family, Prison Fellowship and the Barnabas Fund - charities and missions we support, all doing very valuable work.


SUNDAYS: THE SPACE - Bible-based teaching for children in Kingston Church Room during the 10.30am service on all Sundays (except the All-Age Services, of course). All leaders DBS-checked.
SUNDAYS: ANCHOR, FOR 14-18s - a group for 14-18s who wish to be spiritual explorers and find out about the great truths of life, learning from the Bible, at the Vicarage, 6.00-7.45pm, twice a month in term-time. You don't need to be a churchgoer, this group is also for anyone who's happy to investigate with an open mind. Please phone Rebecca on 820451 for more details. All leaders DBS-checked.

TUESDAYS: FELLOWSHIP GROUP - at 9:30-10.30, a homegroup, led by Gary and Delyth, at 14 Larch Close, learning from the 'Freedom in Christ" course 14 Larch Close. Come at 9am for coffee, contact Gary on 07799968408 for more details,

WEDNESDAYS: EXPLORE - Is taking a break till September. In term-time, it meets on Wednesday mornings at 10.30am-12.00noon at 5 Race Farm Court, OX13 5DS to dig deeper into the Bible, see what it has to say about life's difficult questions, and learn lessons for our everyday lives. WEDNESDAYS: FELLOWSHIP GROUP - on Wednesday evenings at 8pm - an informal group of Christians who meet to chat, learn about the Bible, pray and help each other in their "spiritual journeys"- please phone Jenny on 820165 for more information.

TUESDAYS: GOLDEN EAGLES - After school on Tuesdays in term-time, we have Golden Eagles on Tuesdays 4.30-5.30 at 8 Larch Close for primary school children.
