Traffic Speeds on Main Road, Fyfield

Main Road, Fyfield can be very conjested at times. Most residents have to park on the road and numbers are swelled by workers from the units and pub clientele. This makes it difficult to pass oncoming traffic and to see young children or animals near parked cars.

Please drive at a safe speed appropriate to visability and conditions.

Potholes on Abingdon Road, Tubney

There have been multiple accidents caused by deep potholes at the edge of this road in multiple places. Following a long campaign with OCC Highways to remedy the situation, we have managed to get most of the holes filled.

Please take care as the road edge continues to suffer damage from vehicles forced to the verge which leads to new potholes appearing.

Meanwhile, pressure continues to be placed on OCC to repair all the defects.

Flooding on Digging Lane

The Parish Council continues to liaise with the District Council, OCC Highways and the land owners to resolve the ongoing flooding and subsequent road damage on Digging Lane.
